Brian,
Your videos have provided valued information; I have narrowed my search for a new hearing aid that supports my lifestyle. As a side note, you engagement and prioritization of Jack makes me 🌝. Excellent!
In my search, my top 2 requirements are:
1) connectivity to other devices via LE Audio support
2) 'Tech-Savvy' configuration adjustment features of the IOS app.
At this point, my list has the Jabra Pro 20 and Philips 9050; anticipating the 9050's availability.
In the Costco's AI Powered Hearing Aid Review - Philips 9040, the Hearlink App features were the primary reason for selecting the 10 over the 9040. While the sound quality of Philips was slightly better, the App features at that time made the 10 a choice. Now that the HearLink App has been updated and assuming the 9050 addresses the missing capabilities outlined in the BIG NEWS for the Philips 9040 Hearing Aids at Costco when available, I'm interested in opinions / comparison of features in the 20 and 9040 apps to support 'Tech Savvy' adjustments.
i doubt the 9050 hearing aids are going to have any more features in the app, as far as i know, it will still be a very basic app and it still won't have the functionality of the jabra app. We will have to wait and see when it comes out but I have not seen or heard of any updates to the app, only the advanced features and the new bluetooth codec (LE Audio)
Tim, I would suggest checking out the Blaid-X Neuro RIC HA. I got a pair recently to b my backup HA for when I am working outside and don't want to chance loosing my overly expensive Phonak Lumity L90 HA. Here's a link: Rechargeable Receiver In Canal (RIC) Hearing Aids (blaidshearing.com)
