Hi, my name is Bob Loose. Have a set of Jabra Enhanced Pro20 hearing aids I purchased from Costco about a month ago. Like them a lot better than the Phonak ones I had. However it seems like the technician at my Costo is not the best at setting them up, I have to listen to Brian to understand all the features. I had to ask for the variable front focus feature to be added, which I find very useful.
I wonder if any others are having the chewing noise that the RIE is picking up, and if there is anything that can be done to minimize it?
Hello all, I’m Bob Cohen and I’m new to the hearing aid world. I found your YouTube channel and at the urging of my wife, I went to Costco to get a free hearing test. I discovered that I have a mild high frequency defect probably due to many years of giving flight instruction in light airplanes. Although, I knew about the noise affecting my future hearing ability, but in those days we only had those foam hearing protectors which when I stuffed them in my ears, I would yell at my students. Therefore, I went without any hearing protection.
After watching your videos on OTC hearing aids verses prescription ones. I am almost convinceed buying a name brand prescription hearing aid from Costco is my best choice. My company’s private insurance has an in network hearing aid benefit. However, it only covers 80% of the cost up to a maximum of $3,000. My insurance also has an out of network benefit with a $4,000 deductible. This makes going to Costco a no brainer choice. I’m interested in the Jabra Enhanced 20 hearing aids and would be interested in any users opinions on these devices.
Just starting to check out options. Love your YouTube Chanel. I ordered the Elehear pro based on your review. Looking forward to their arrival. Saw an add for LumiCharge V4, but have not seen any reviews.
